Amazing, amazing couple. Aishah and Hossam, you guys were a blast to work with. Can’t wait to shoot your wedding in June 2013! We started off this session in downtown Toronto, stopped off to get some images by the skyline and ended it at Cherry Beach.

– Photographed by Aamer Kapadia and Iman Khan

Priyesh and Jaime’s awesome Gujarati Hindu wedding. There was so much colour, fun and vibrance throughout all five days of the ceremonies – these are just a few of my favourites from three of their events: the Mehndi, Sanjee and Saatak. They also had a Civil Ceremony and Traditional Hindu Ceremony which I will blog next so keep your eyes peeled for more! I have a very special place for Priyesh and Jaime in my heart since they were the first clients to book me for 2012 and also allowed me to be completely myself stylistically. Remember their awesome kitchen themed engagement session? And their amazing Photobooth? I’ve always thought that my biggest strength as a photographer is capturing real moments – documenting what really happened at the event. Yes, posed formals and couples photos are definitely very important but you just can’t beat the honesty of a real, authentic moment. I always try to keep it real! Hope that comes across in this series of blog posts about their wedding 🙂
